All Sales are Final. All items are sold 'As Is, Where Is' without warranty of any kind, expressed or implied (unless otherwise stated in item description). Property is open to thorough public inspection. It is the Bidder's responsibility to determine condition, age, genuineness, value or any other determinative factor prior to bidding. GWA may attempt to describe the merchandise in advertising on the internet and at the auction but makes no representations. In no event shall GWA be held responsible for having made or implied any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Bidder shall be the sole judge of value. Bidder agrees that everything is sold as is where is and that they may not return any item(s) they purchase.
This auction is Internet Only. All bidding activity will solely take place online. Bidder acknowledges and understands that this service may or may not function correctly the day of auction. Under no circumstances shall bidder have any kind of claim against GWA or anyone else if the Internet service fails to work correctly before or during the auction closing. GWA will not be responsible for any missed bids from any source. Internet bidders who desire to make certain their bid is acknowledged should use the Max Bid feature and leave their maximum bid 24 hours before the auction begins. Items receiving a bid within the last 4 minutes of closing will have end time extended. GWA reserves the right to withdraw or re-catalog items in this auction.
All items must be paid for in full on the days and times posted after the sale has closed, typically four business days. Winning bidders will receive an invoice via email which will include the items won and total amount owing. No items may be removed until full settlement has been made.
All items must be removed from the premises in the time announced by Auctioneers. It is the buyer’s responsibility to remove all items in the allotted time at the buyer’s sole expense. Fixed, Mounted, or installed items are the responsibility of the buyer to remove. Auction personnel will be on site to assist all buyers in loading, but it is not their responsibility to remove or disassemble any lot purchased.
All applicable sales, use, transfer or excise taxes arising from sale will be charged to buyer and will be added to purchase price in accordance with Provincial & Federal law.
If, for any reason whatsoever, the Auctioneers fail to deliver an awarded lot, the Auctioneers sole liability shall be the return of any deposit or monies paid on such non-delivered lot, and purchaser shall have no further claim.
Grasswood Auctions reserves the right to accept or reject any bidder for any reason without explanation.
Note: All non-Canadian customers must make payments by wire transfer.
If you fail to complete your purchase after you are the successful bidder in a Grasswood Online Auction, you will be required to pay a default penalty. Failure to complete the sale, for any reason, will require the successful bidder to pay a “Default Penalty” equal to twenty five percent (25%) of the auction closing price to Grasswood Auctions.
